Campground Rules - Redbeard's Rules are founded upon family values, common courtesy and respect for the environment.

  • Due to legal considerations, pets are not allowed at Redbeard's Ranch.

  • Glass is prohibited by law in canoes and rafts.

  • Missouri law prohibits liability lawsuits against canoe and raft outfitters resulting from the inherent risks of paddle sport activities.

  • No illegal drugs.

  • No foul or abusive language.

  • No drunken behavior or disorderly conduct.

  • No firearms or fireworks.

  • No "boom-boxes".

  • Generators may be used in remote areas only.

  • Children under 12 must be under the direct supervision of an adult and may not roam the campground after dark.

  • Enjoy your camping experience but keep noise levels down.  After dark, please keep your noise within your campsite.  If adjacent campers can hear you, you are too noisy.  Tents must be set-up by 10:00 PM.  Later arrivals will be asked to set-up in a remote area to avoid disturbing sleeping campers.

  • No trespassing on adjacent property.

  • No smoking in Redbeard's Ranch buildings, tents or RV's.

  • Water comes from our well ... please conserve.

  • Do not wash dishes or clothes in the bathrooms.

  • Campers who are evicted for violation of established rules are not eligible for refunds.

  • Campers will be held responsible for damage to Redbeard's Ranch rental property.

  • Fines will apply for late returns of floatation equipment or failure to exit the river at the Redbeard's Ranch boat ramp.

  • Redbeard's Ranch is not responsible for damage or theft of personal belongings.  Please lock valuables in your vehicle.

  • Check-out time is 12:00 PM.  If your float time will extend beyond noon, please pack your camping gear in your car and park it in the main lot to free up your camp site or teepee for the next campers.

  • We reserve the right to refuse service to anyone.

  • Rates are subject to change without notice.

  • Transport of firewood to RBR from other areas is prohibited.  The Missouri Department of Conservation has expressed concern that firewood from other areas may harbor hitchhiking insects and diseases that can attack our Ozark forests.  Our native trees are particularly vulnerable due to recent damage from winter ice storms.  RBR has plenty of firewood available for building campfires.  You can buy it from us or pick it up off the ground.

Teepee Rules

  • Teepees are extremely sturdy structures but can be damaged by carelessness or misuse.  Renters are financially responsible for all damages that they cause to teepees.

  • No smoking in or near teepees.

  • Canvas tenting over beds is designed to protect from rain.  Please do not store anything on top of the fabric.

  • No lanterns with flames are allowed inside teepees.

  • Do not cook or store food inside teepees so as not to encourage wild animals to tear through the canvas to get inside.

  • Keep external campfires small and do not burn paper or cardboard to prevent sparks or hot ash from drifting onto the teepee.

  • Propane for the internal fireplace is available at additional charge.  No wood fires are allowed inside the teepees.

  • Children must be supervised at all times while in or around the teepees.  Children may not sleep in teepees without adult supervision.

  • Do not allow children to jump on the air mattresses or disturb the gravel foundations around the teepees.
