CIVIL WAR SKIRMISH ASSOCIATION 5th Missouri Infantry
Redbeard's Ranch is the official shooting range of the 5th Missouri Infantry of the Civil War Skirmish Association. At least twice a year, in the Spring and Fall, these Civil War enthusiasts gather at Redbeard's Ranch for a weekend of camping, camaraderie and friendly competition in the style of the Civil War era.
Participants dress in period clothing, camp in authentic period camp sites and compete in shooting events with antique and replica muskets, mortars, carbines and cannons from the Civil War era.
The public is welcome to attend, observe the competition, and visit with the soldiers and their families. Event passes are free. Additional charges apply for overnight camping.
Whoever this guy is, he seems to be a pretty good shot. |
